Be sure to check out our FirsTrax report and Snow Report shared by Matt Laws this morning. It’s safe to say that conditions across the entire region are freaking awesome. Check the snow report for the full details, but I can tell you that Wolf Ridge and Wisp Resort are reporting up to 10″ of snow. Canaan Valley and Timberline are reporting around 9+” and others in the area in West Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee. It was awesome seeing 2-3″ of snowfall reported at Ober Gatlinburg in Tennessee.

Temperatures in the teens and 20s have made for snowmaking blizzards to happen at those same ski areas.

The only ski area in the state of Virginia to make snow over the last 36 hours is at Wintergreen Resort and they saw a trace of snow. There was NO snow or snowmaking at Bryce, Massanutten or Omni Homestead during this blast that hit the rest of the region.

Here are TWO options at viewing this morning tour of the LIVE STREAMS.
