The colder temperatures are allowing a handful of resorts to continue to make snow as we kick off November.

After the first day of the month saw some natural snow get the excitement going, some of the resorts brought their snowmaking operations to life on Wednesday and some are continuing into today.

Canaan, Timberline, and Snowshoe are all making snow this morning, and it looks like snowmaking is mostly confined to those three resorts.

There are a couple of resorts – Ober Mountain and Cataloochee for example – that are making snow on their tubing hills.

It is amazing to see how much snow the mountain operation crews can put down when the conditions allow.

This was an awesome video from Snowshoe (which is where the featured image also comes from.

I also grabbed a couple of shots from Resortcams from Canaan Valley and Timberline earlier this morning.

It is always an exciting time as the season gets closer. That does it for today, but until next time, #ThinkSnow!
