February 16-18 | FREE adaptive ski event hosted by Therapeutic Adventures.
Therapeutic Adventures, a local non-profit, is conducting Operation Freedom Outdoors to serve veterans from Hunter-Holmes McGuire Veterans Hospital.
This premier event is aimed at providing disabled military – adaptive athletes who have a wide variety of mobility-related disabilities (spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, PTSD, blind/visual impairments) an opportunity to receive adaptive skiing/snowboarding instruction. This promises to be a great weekend of adaptive skiing, fellowship, and reunion to honor those who have served. For more information, contact Mark Andrews ([email protected]) or visit the Therapeutic Adventures Web site at www.taonline.org.
