Live Music w/ Soundboy

This event is FREE and tickets are not required to enter the venue. The Taproom and Grill is located in the resort village, across from Ski Beech Sports and adjacent to Lift 5.

What do you get when you take 6 Hilton Head Island musicians, songwriters and producers, with diverse musical backgrounds – including jazz, rock, R&B, and reggae – and put them on one stage together under the Island sun? You get “SoundBoy.”“Soundboy” is a reggae-infused, soul-tinged and eclectically-inspired music group from the Low Country.

Featuring Kyle Wareham (vocals/guitar), Jos Vicars (vocals/bass/didgeridoo/samples), Martin Lesch (keyboards/vocals), John Wilkins (guitar/vocals), and Greg Critchley (drums/percussion/vocals), Soundboy performs original songs alongside select renditions from its favorite artists.

With a sound as unique as its members diverse backgrounds, Soundboy’s cumulative credits cross the spectrum – its members have performed with and shared the stage/studio with a massive list of artists, including Sublime, Three Legged Fox, Alex Lifeson (Rush), James LaBrie (Dream Theatre), James Brown, The Who, Aerosmith, Michelle Branch, Dixie Chicks, Verdine White, Toby Keith, Chaka Khan, Soja, Stick Figure, Sean Lennon, Miley Cyrus, Dirty Heads…AND YES, EVEN Spinal Tap!!
