It is going to be a bluebird day.
Sunday is starting incredibly with picture-perfect weather and temperatures that aren’t quite as cool as Friday and Saturday.

Today definitely deserves a bluebird day alert as we have some of the best conditions of the season and we are going to have abundant sunshine for most of the day.
Clouds will move in later today, but we will be ok with that as we could see some light snow move in with the clouds.
The keyword is light, but we will take snow anytime we can get it.
This week has flown by, but they always say time flies when you are having fun. It is hard to believe that we were in the middle of the last weekend’s storm this time last week.
Since last Saturday, we have seen a few resorts approach 27″ of natural snow, a couple of others pass 20″, and nearly every other resort passed the 12″ mark.
When you add in the incredible work that the mountain operation crews do day in and day out, the conditions are phenomenal right now.
That is why we are expecting another busy day on the slopes.
We saw a couple of resorts hit capacity on Saturday, and I fully expect today to be pretty busy.
Who can blame people for wanting to play in the snow?
The key for weekends over the next few weeks will be to plan ahead and purchase in advance if possible – especially if the pattern keeps in our favor.
Speaking of looking ahead, the upcoming week looks really nice as well. We will have a chance for a couple of shots of some light snow along with some great snowmaking conditions.
Stop me if you have heard this recently, but we are also watching a potential system for next weekend. While it is still several days away, we are going to pay attention and #ThinkSnow.
