The ten day forecast for Banner Elk, Sugar and Beech Mountain is for lows in the MID TWENTIES with clear skies and highs in the 40s for nearly the entire forecast period.
"That will make for some great snowmaking at Sugar and Beech and by Wednesday of this week (February 8th) we could be looking at ski and snowboarding conditions that are the best of the season so far!", adds Apple.
Right now Sugar is offering 15 trails to play on as well as snow tubing which is GREAT family fun. Ice Skating is available at Sugar and Beech Mountain and Beech Resort offering 11 of 15 trails open.
By mid week the snowmakers will have kicked things up a notch delivering some great snow conditions that can be enjoyed without freezing with sub zero temperatures!
