Although skiing and boarding are the main reason people visit the slopes, there's no question that snow tubing has been a great addition to the winter fun at North Carolina ski resorts.

Snow Tubing has become a favorite alternative winter activity for a lot of people and particularly families.

We receive a lot of emails from families and friends that are planning trips and want to know if there are any activities that those that DON'T ski can do while others in the group are carving up the slopes.

Well TUBING is a great answer!

Just imagine, hopping on a plump inner tube and flying down an exciting incline to a wide open bottom area...and there you have tubing. The tubes at the resorts are specially designed for use on the snow and they even come complete with a hookup so that once you're at the bottom, you simply walk over, hook on to the lift...and sit while the lift pulls you back to the top!

You can see the rates for tubing by first choosing the resort you want and then click on tubing or other information for rates.

Also, a quick note: If you are looking for additional activities to do...Ski Beech has a beautiful outdoor ice skating rink, set within it's village area. So come on...whether or not you are ready to slap on the skis...tubing is waiting you!
