| Last Midnight Blast Weekend - App Ski |

Late night skiing is back for the High Country. For the upcoming 2009-10 ski season, Appalachian Ski Mtn. will offer nine Midnight Blast Weekends on Friday and Saturday nights from December 26 through the weekend after Presidents Day (February 20).
The usual 6 to 10 pm hours will be extended to midnight on these special weekends. Best of all, these extended hours will be offered at no additional cost. “With challenging economic times, people looking for a good value will discover that this is the best ticket value that we offer, at a time that is actually convenient,” said Appalachian Ski Mtn. General Manager Brad Moretz.
“As the closest ski destination to significant markets within a two hour drive, such as Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, High Point, Hickory, and Gastonia, we feel that Appalachian Ski Mtn. is in the best position to offer many skiers and riders a night option that wouldn’t otherwise be possible without a longer night session.”
Appalachian is the only ski area in the Southeast region to offer late-night skiing.

The Women's Head Ski/Ride Clinic is offered in two formats: Friday day clinics in January and February and a grand finale Weekend Seminar in February (participants can sign up for one or all programs).
Friday Women's Clincis
The Friday day clinics are featured on the following dates: January 22; January 29; February 5; February 12. These individual clinics offer high level ski and snowboard instruction and are taught by Wintergreen's PSIA certified women instructors. Each Friday program will meet at 9:00 AM on the snow outside the ski rental area. Clinics will take place from 9:30 - 11:30 AM, with a break for lunch (lunch included) and clinic resume again at 1:00 - 2:30 PM.
Friday Women's Clinic Rate:
1-Day Friday Clinic: $95 (Equipment rental and lift ticket not included). (lunch and instruction is included).
4-Day Friday Clinic: $350 (Equipment rental and lift ticket not included). (lunch and instruction is included).
4-Day Friday Clinic and Full Weekend Seminar on February 19-21: $650 (Equipment rental and lift ticket not included). (lunch and instruction is included).

Grand Finale Weekend Women's Seminar is scheduled for Friday, February 19 through Sunday, February 21. The weekend long workshop offers high quality skiing and riding clinics, workshops, dining and social networking for women of all ages. All clinics and instruction are taught by our PSIA Certified women instructors as well as HEAD professional skier and world champion Extreme Skier Alison Gannett. Program Includes:
Meals on Saturday & Sunday (excluding Sunday Dinner).
Skiing/Riding Coaching Clinics (Morning/Afternoon on Saturday & Sunday).
Program Participants are Eligible For:
Special Resort-Wide discounts throughout weekend.
Access to latest Head Ski & Snowboard Demo Equipment for use skiing/riding (participants will need to provide own boots).

This annual event will again be a one day fun fest at Ski Beech. There will be live music, entertainment and we'll do another fundraiser to support Breast Cancer. We'll announce more details this week as well.
SkiNC and Beech Mountain team up for a great cause. This is the second annual SkiBeech Summit. Come join other skiing enthuasist for a great day on the slopes and to support a charitable cause!

5. Participants are asked to remove boxes/remnants at finish of race.
6. Each entry will run individually against the clock. The clock will stop
when the entire entry, including riders, cross the finish line.

App Terrain Park will kick off the 09-10 Shred for the Cup event series on Saturday Night, February 20th with the Big Air. Shred for the Cup is the premiere event series in the region, and is better than ever going into its 4th season. As always, Shred for the Cup is open to Skiers and Snowboarders of all age and ability. Tons of prizes are up for grabs, as well as points for the entire series winners.
All event participants will receive lunch and Shred for the Cup series T-Shirts.
