Look for more themed events this season, all with tons of prizes to award standouts throughout the sessions. Best of all, it’s completely FREE to enter!
Format
Fresh Fridays, as always, will sport a low-key, relaxed jam session format, where riders can hit the new setup as many times as they want, in any order they want, just like a normal day of riding with friends. Registration will be from 5:00-6:30 at the registration desk on the Upper Level of the Lodge. The shred sesh will last from 7:00 – 8:00, with the awards taking place nearby the setup immediately after the jam ends. Oh, and don’t worry, ATP will leave the new setup out all weekend long for everyone to ride!
Judging
The judging for Fresh Fridays will be unlike any other competition. No more first, second, or third place. We will be awarding prizes to certain standouts throughout the session. The Maggie Valley Police Association and Cataloochee Ski Area would like to invite you for one or two fun, affordable days of skiing and fellowship at our 10th Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Days on Thursday, February 4, and Friday, February 5, 2010.
Cataloochee Ski Area is located only a short drive away in the Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. With its large snowmaking capacity and elevation almost a mile high you can count on skiing at Cataloochee even when it might seem too warm for skiing where you are. And don’t forget Tube World, locate down the mountain in Maggie Valley for snowtubing at its best!
Cataloochee has a reputation for being a family oriented, fun, and friendly place. We invite you, your family, and associates to relax, ski, and enjoy the day or night! This special package is only $25 per person and includes a 1 1/2 hour lesson, day's lift ticket and full set of rental equipment! The combined savings is $35 per person over Cataloochee's regular rates! This package price is good for day skiing from 9am until 4:30pm, twilight skiing from 1pm until 10pm, or night skiing from 6pm until 10pm. And if rental and lessons are not required, the lift ticket price will be $15 per person.
To make this an even more special day, we have arranged for a special reduced rate for overnight accommodations on Thursday evening.
Please pass our invitation on to others in your department. We are pleased to sponsor this event in conjunction with Cataloochee Ski Area. If you have any questions about Law Enforcement Appreciation Day or about Cataloochee, please call 1-800-768-0285.
