Cloudmont Ski Resort is the only ski
resort in Alabama! Yes, that's
right, there's a ski resort in
Alabama! Cloudmont is nestled near
Lookout Mountain in
Mentone Alabama
and offers two fantastic slopes for
skiing. Since 1970, visitors in the
Deep South that want to ski and
board, or learn something new have
ventured to Cloudmont Ski Resort in
the winter for its two 1,000-foot slopes. These beginner to
intermediate level runs are the
perfect spot to learn, and fun runs
to hit when you find yourself in the
Deep South in the winter. Two "pony"
lifts are used to transport skiers
and boarders back to the top of
Lookout Mountain at Cloudmont.
In addition to the two small runs at
the ski resort, Cloudmont is a golf
resort in the warmer months and
Saddle Rock Golf Course is a part of
the resort.

the warmer months you can enjoy

In the winter months, Cloudmont Ski
Resort is open daily during the
season, and on weekends and holidays
for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. sessions, and
nightly on weekdays, weekends and
holidays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Resort; resort rental boots range
in size from a child's 10 to an
adult size 13. You cannot reserve
rentals.
